Part of the perfect cup of coffee in the morning is the perfect breakfast to go with it. Ladies and gentlemen, I introduce to you the Sugar Free Orange Flapjacks (pancakes). It's a simple enough recipe, with a few substitutions from the original flap jack reicpe. The ingredients are mostly easy to find, including:

- 1 Cup Almond Flour
- 2 Eggs
- 1/4 Cup Water
- 2 tsp Olive Oil
- 1 oz Orange sweetener
I actually would say that these taste superior than unhealthy pancakes. A part of me knows is in my head I'm sure, since I understand that something healthy being healthy will make me feel superior overall. Nonetheless, it uses vaguely different ingredients that provide a different taste. Some people will like them, others won't. You simply never know before you give it a try.
Start by combining and mixing all the ingredients altogether just as you would do with a original pancake. It's easiest with a little oil in a non-stick frying pan. Maybe the biggest differences while cooking is just that this pancake mix won't form "bubbles the same as regular flapjacks. This makes it just a tad more challenging to see when to flip, but with a little practice you can learn to tell when the bottom of the pancake is cooked and prepared to be flipped over.
Flap Jacks need to be served as soon as they're done, or layered with papertowels to stop drying up. As always, freshly prepared is ideal but understandably not always convenient. Present to guests with sugar free syrup topping and/or genuine lively Strawberries. While cooked food doesn't rapidly lose it's nutrient values over time, if you're serving fresh fruits you will want to cut those as late as can be to avoid spoiling.
In the end, if everything was completed the right way, you will have six, 4-inch pancakes. Each pancake has about 2grams effective carbohydrates and 160 calories, so don't eat them all. These pancakes however are high in healthy fats and fiber, which could assis in prevevnting high spikes in blood glucose and insulin all the while providing a delectible treat once in a while. Some other flavourings and fruits may be used aside from just Orange for a little more variety.
