Gloria Jeans Coffee began in a little town just north of Chicago, housed in a small gift shop, by owners Ed and Gloria Jean Kvetko in 1979.

The Kvetkos decided to share their secret for great tasting coffee and the word spread quickly!

They began franchising Gloria Jean's in the mid-1980's and today it is one of the largest mall-based retailer of specialty coffees in North America.
